Cherryl's Story

I went to Ravenswood High 1960-1962, We moved to Cupertino in 1963 and I graduated from Homestead High in 1964. I went to Foothill, but had to go to work full time when my dad was transferred to Chicago, as I wanted to stay in Calif. I worked for Pacific Bell (1965-1991) when I took an early retirement. I worked in real estate and mortgage offices until 2001, when I retired for good. I volunteered one day a week at my church office for 2 years. Currently volunteer in 2 nur...Expand for more
sing homes as well. I have made many friends in the nursing homes and feel very blessed. Many of the residents are my age or younger. I love the interaction and the experience is a God send and makes my week. I have been married to the same man since 1972. We have 2 sons. One son is married. Besides US travel I have been to I have been to Guatemala and El Salvador twice as well as Canada & Sydney Australia. I hope to go to Samoa to see my daughter in law's birthplace.
